I enjoy a lot, appreciate more, and as a bassist can play a vanishingly small subset. I find I’m drawn most to bassists that contribute to the melody without losing sight of the low–end drive.

Ryan Racine and Gas For Less  

Premium Grade Honky–Tonk. I’ve been playing with Ryan since 2007. The songs are great, gigging is a blast, and the musicianship is excellent. I really couldn’t ask for more from a band. We’ve recently released our first EP, titled Low Life, Vol. 1 which is available on CDBaby and iTunes. You should buy one right now before you forget. Go ahead, I’ll wait…

Kevin Meisel and the Ragged Glories 

Playing music with my brother… ultimately it’s the reason I started playing in the first place. Kevin is a great narrative writer artfully concealing the heart of a pop songster.

From November 9th to November 19th 2011, Kevin, Alex Anest, and I will be on tour in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. As much as I have access to free wifi, I’ll be blogging the tour, the details of which are available under the 2011 Tour category.
